Toronto Region Board of Trade selects FutureVault as top ‘Smart Solution’ of 2018
We are so proud and humbled to announce that the Toronto Region Board of Trade has awarded FutureVault with a Business Excellence Award (BEA) in the Smart Solutions category.
For the past 8 years, the Toronto Region Board of Trade has sought out members of the business community “who are trailblazers demonstrating exceptional growth, leadership and innovation”. Small and medium-sized businesses are nominated by peers and leaders in the industry in seven award categories:
- Smart Solutions (presented by Rogers)
- Community Influencer
- Entrepreneur of the Year (presented by Ted Rogers School of Management at Ryerson University)
- Global Trade Catalyst (presented by Wipro)
- Talent Catalyst
- Young Professional of the Year (presented by RBC)
Each year, there are hundreds of nominations submitted to the Toronto Region Board of Trade. After distilling nominees down to a smaller group, corporate profiles are submitted and reviewed. Then, the awards Committee Members conduct a panel interview with the short-listed candidate companies. This year’s committee members included leaders from RBC, Rogers, Canada Post, Viryl Technologies, the Ted Rogers School of Management at Ryerson University.
We were flattered to be selected as Finalists for the Smart Solutions award alongside two incredibly innovative technology businesses, Compugen and Eddy Solutions.
We’ve been heads down for the past few months on a number of new features and customer rollouts so it’s refreshing, encouraging and validating when you get tapped on the shoulder and told you’re doing something right…or at least interesting.
On behalf of our executive team, I’d like to thank all of our staff for their tireless efforts in serving our clients and building our technology. We promise these early mornings and late nights will continue paying off. Pinky swear. Keep up the good work everyone. You’ve done good.
Lastly, we’d like to thank the Toronto Region Board of Trade – not just for their efforts in recognizing emerging businesses but for their deep commitment to being a catalyst for economic growth in the GTA and beyond. They continue to help put Toronto on the map as a destination and ecosystem for businesses to start, grow, thrive and expand. We’re both lucky and proud to call this city home to our headquarters. We’d also like to thank all of the event sponsors for supporting this event: RBC, Wipro, Rogers, Chambers Plan, Scotiabank, The Globe and Mail, Ryerson University and Purdy’s Chocolatier.
Here are some pictures from the event, along with the new home in our reception area for our BEA. Enjoy.
Go team,
Michael
